Privacy Policy
PropDossier collects only what it needs to produce a report and run this website: the address and email you submit, plus anonymous usage analytics. We do not sell personal information.
Effective date: 2026-08-27. This policy applies to propdossier.com and its language versions (/zh/, /es/).
What we collect
Information you give us
When you use the request form on the home page, we collect the property address you want analyzed and your email address. The form is delivered through Formspree, a form-processing service, which forwards the submission to us by email.
Information collected automatically
We use PostHog, a product-analytics service, to understand how the site is used. Through our own domain (the /pdq path on propdossier.com) PostHog records:
- Pages viewed, time on page, and the page you came from
- Clicks and interactions, including which sections of a report are read and whether the calculator is used
- Session replays (a reconstruction of how the page was scrolled and clicked) and heatmaps
- Technical details: browser type, screen size, approximate location derived from your IP address, and a random visitor identifier
Text you type into form fields is not included in session replays. If you open a report link that was sent to you, PostHog may associate your visits to that report with the same visitor profile.
Hosting logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare keeps basic connection logs (IP address, request time, requested page) for security and to keep the site running.

There are no advertising cookies on this site.
How we use it
- To produce your report. The address is what we analyze; the email is where we send the result.
- To contact you about your request, for example to ask a clarifying question or tell you when it is ready.
- To improve the website, by seeing which pages and report sections are useful and where visitors get stuck.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who else handles the data
Three service providers process data on our behalf. Each handles only what it needs for its function.

Data is stored and processed in the United States. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Form submissions are kept for as long as we need them to deliver the report and follow up on your request. Analytics data is kept according to PostHog's retention settings; session replays are kept for a limited period and then deleted automatically.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- See the personal information we hold about you
- Delete it
- Opt out of analytics tracking, including session replay
Send your request to [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. You can also block analytics yourself by clearing this site's cookies and site data or using a browser that blocks tracking scripts; the site works normally without them.
California residents
If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, to correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. PropDossier does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights. Use the email above for any request.
Children
PropDossier is not directed at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, email us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to form submissions and analytics is limited to the PropDossier team. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted on the home page for a period of time. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
